Don't expect to get as much on a trade-in at a store as you would to sell it personally, same as trading in a car.

Yea, you'd be better off just selling it yourself and then buying what you want. I'd say 91warrior is about right on the price w/o looking at it. That is if you sell it yourself.

The dealership will do their level best to steal it from you so sell it outright and buy outright. You are giving yourself the best of both worlds that way. Remember that the new product that they are selling you can be purchased at many dealerships and the warrior you are trading in is one of a kind. Take the extra time to repair everything on the warrior that you can within reason and sell it then and only then. If you are selling an item with known problems you are opening the door to doubt in the mind of the potential buyer. If they know that they are going to have to do work on it then they are most certainly going to be more prone to talk you down more. If everything is ship shape you will realize more for it. I mean it can't take that long or cost that much to replace a couple of bolts. That alone could save you a couple hundred bucks easy. Don't get in a hurry and take the fast way out, it will cost you dearly.

My friend sold his 03 Warrior for 1600 and it was in very good condition with new pipes and hole shots.
