Arrow WARN winch RT30 Install

Ok...another question but this is for the install of a WARN RT30.

At WARN's website they do not list a winch mount for the 2009 XP 850, so is it still possible to install this winch?

Can I just use a Polaris winch mount from my local dealer? I want to make sure I do not purchase the WARN if it is not compatible...

Thanks!

I remember somebody saying they are identical, for what that's worth. Also, take off rings and jewelry when doing a winch install. I don't know how tight the battery is on the XP but on my X2 it was close enough that I almost welded my wedding ring to the engine block. Yes, with my finger in it.... Owww...

YES...good reminder. Always remove those things when working on batteries!

Well...I'm going to order the WARN RT30 and purchase a Polaris winch mount. I'll let you all know if they match up...with an update.

Thanks!

Ok...I purchased a WARN RT30 winch and the XP 850 KFI winch mount. The nice thing...is they were both available on eBay...at the lowest price I could find. PLUS...the WARN rebate of $50 for the RT30 model...not bad.

I will try and do the install sometime next week...and will update on the quality of the KFI mount!

Thanks for all the replies...
