hi i have an 08 450 Yamaha wolverine and my buddy has a brand new set of tires for sale and i was wondering if they would fit and can i buy rims that will fit my bike. they are 25x12-10 im just wondering if there would be enough clearance for my brakes and fenders or will they be to big and rub my fenders. i like to know if they will be any good before i buy them and a set of rims to find out later that they are no good to my bike. i know they will not fit the rims already on my bike .if any one can help me please do

 

They will fit on the rear but the front rims are to narrow for 25x12R12. I am not even sure if going 12 wide in the front would fit measure out 2 inches to the inside and see if there is any parts obstructing the tire. Me personally I would not go that wide in the front. I am putting 26x9R12 in the front and 26x11R12 in the rear maxxis zillas. There was another post that said 10 wide in the front and 12 wide in back on stock rims.

 

i went with mud bugs and went 25x8x12 in the front and 25x10x12 in the back they are plenty wide all around and through mud like crazy there is a bit of rubbing i can hear from time to time on the floor boards i think
