Hey guys I have a gio 50cc mini quad. It has been a great quad so far. My son parked the machine one day, it was running fine. A few days later we tried to start it and it won't start.



I am pretty sure there is no spark. I ground the plug to the engine and nothing. I have taken all the connections apart and cleaned everything. I am getting power to the wiring harness plug at the coil. Could it be the coil?

not to get away from your ? about the coil but can you please tell me how fast you gio 50cc goes????

 

Make sure ther safety tether at the rear of the seat is fully plugged in, other than the red kill swich and the brake lever being pulled in to allow starting it must be a bad coil. I just ordered a new 50cc machine and they sent me an extra coil with it, maybe they know there are problems with some of them.
