White Brothers e-Series on Raptor/jetting
#1
Are any of you guys running the White Brothers E-series slip on on your Raptor? I was wondering if it will run ok on the stock jetting. I just put the can on but didn't get to ride it yet. I ordered the Dynojet kit but wont have it 'till next week.

I put the white brothers e-series on my raptor and tryed it with stock jetting when it was in the 20s here and was backfiring a little so I installed the k&n jet kit and cut out the baffel in the air intake like it said and now it runs great

I just put an e-series on my 300ex. It was kinda loud for my taste. So I took out all but 4 discs and it's better now. And as far as fit and finish, it looks good, but it doesn't fit the stock headpipe very well. It has about an 1/8 inch gap around the slip joint on the headpipe. I had to make a gasket out of muffler repair tape to get it to seal off. I was not pleased with that part, but I love the looks. I even polished mine out to a mirror like finish. I haven't rejetted yet, I have a K&N filter on order, so I'll jet it after I get it on. Hope this helps.

i had the e series on mine but sold it i did not like the external disks like i thought i would they were a mess with all the mudd around here.
as far as jetting reed your paper that came woth it. it says use stock jetting unless you asd disks or change air filters. but notice the differenc between jetting and the disks you use.
when i first put mine on it ran rich i though it might be the jets , but the answer was to add more disks to open it. then my plug ran fine
if it backfires check for leaks around the pipe mine did the same i had to adjust the clamp

Thanks, I bought the E series used. I asked the guy if it came with a gasket, or if the instructions said to use the stock gasket. He said that he didn't use a gasket. But it was a loose fit(duh). I will order one from Honda and see how it works with it. Thanks again!

I just put my eseries on last week end, my raptor was still jetted at sea level (stock jets) and I'm at 5000 ft so it was arround 2 steps rich before I put the pipe on it seem to lean it out a little just by installing the pipe, so instead of re jetting I removed the airbox snorkle now my plug is a light brown which is just perfect...I ordered 12 more discs today so i could fine tune it more in the future, if anyone has any info on using discs for tuning please let me know....

The White Brothers E-Series was the first modification I bought for my Raptor. I'm at sea level and it ran great with stock jetting with 12 discs.
After I added the ProDesign filter, it started to backfire a little at full throttle. So I went ahead and added Dynojet jet kit and what the heck, a set of FMF powerbomb header pipes, and 2 more discs at the same time. The end result ROCKS! Definitely louder than stock, with enough ponies to back it up :-)
