I have a 1995 Polaris Sport 400. It sounded like the starter was going bad but then I lost all power. I am wondering what could have caused this. I can pull start it and it runs great but I have no head light or brake light and the starter gets nothing. is there a coil on this that could have went bad or could it be the handle bar controls that just happened to go bad?

 

there is a fuse just infront of the starter solinoid in a black pouch. i would look at that first. then.

do you have lights while its running? if not i would be willing to bet that your battery is bad and all your bulbs popped b/c of it
