Another "will these work" tire question
#1
Sorry it has been covered, I searched and never found the answer I was looking for, though close at times. This is for my 08 touring 800efi. I found a sweet deal on Pirelli Mudweiser tires 26x10 front and 26x12 rear. Using a stock rim would they work in the front, or are they going to rub? I talked to the service / parts person and he said they would work without rubbing, and I saw on here someone mentioned they might. For the set of 4 brand new the price is $285, that is what is making it tempting....... Anyone running these, in this size without modifications. Haven't looked into wheel spacers yet..

I have 26x9x12 mud lights on the front of my 700, have to put a 3/8 washer on every wheel stud to keep them from rubbing the tie rod end, there is still a full wheel nut of threads on the studs, havent had any trouble with it.

If I ever had to get spacers - where's considered a good place to get them: price and quality?
