Default Another "will these work" tire question

Sorry it has been covered, I searched and never found the answer I was looking for, though close at times. This is for my 08 touring 800efi. I found a sweet deal on Pirelli Mudweiser tires 26x10 front and 26x12 rear. Using a stock rim would they work in the front, or are they going to rub? I talked to the service / parts person and he said they would work without rubbing, and I saw on here someone mentioned they might. For the set of 4 brand new the price is $285, that is what is making it tempting....... Anyone running these, in this size without modifications. Haven't looked into wheel spacers yet..

For that price, you could always invest into some wheel spacers IF they do happen to rub. I just spent $394 for tires on my Hawk.

They will rub on the tie rod end.

yep been doing some more research and have concluded the same. I've found some mudlites that are only 9" wide and would be cheaper buying that set vs the mudweisers and spacers.

I have 26x9x12 mud lights on the front of my 700, have to put a 3/8 washer on every wheel stud to keep them from rubbing the tie rod end, there is still a full wheel nut of threads on the studs, havent had any trouble with it.

If I ever had to get spacers - where's considered a good place to get them: price and quality?

9" wide would fit if you flip the tie rod ends over. 10's will fit with the tie rod ends flipped and a washer behind the wheel.
