Default 98 Warrior 350 clicking noise

Hey guysi bought a warrior about 7 months ago and it was in 10 different pieces and i finally got it back together and now it makes a horrible clicking noise that is coming from the motor it self. I did a valve adjustment to spec so that should be all set but its still making it. Should i just ignore it or what. Help me out please.

That's somthing you don't want to ride!! If you do you may break somthing internal and damage other parts. I would try to locate what area of the engine and do some investagating to find out what's going on. You've done 7 months work to not get it done right, one more won't hurt. Good luck!

Is it a ticking noise? My vavles tick and from what i can tell it is normal on a warrior. Mine are not loud though.

Sounds good i am looking into it I wasnt sure if it was a popular thing to go wrong on older warriors but i thought i would check and yes it is a pritty loud ticking. Any tips to locate where its coming from using a wood pole All i can tell is that its coming from the motor put all parts of it sound the same.

I have this same issue, but its a Polaris Trail Boss. Some clicking noise coming from the motor I assume, only at accelleration, not at idle, and only in gear. Problem didn't surface till after I replaced the spark plug...
