Gas leaking
#1
ok, i cant figure this out, but then again i try not to let it happen all that often. whenever my warrior gets stood up on the grab bar, it starts leaking gas from somewhere all down the airbox and into where the battery sits. anybody know why?

thats the one thing i know for sure, its not coming from the vent hose, and petcock isnt really an option, cuz im talking more like when i go to far on a wheelie or something like that, and stand it up.

If you are standing it nearly straight up it is coming from the carburetor vent hose. The float is unable to function and stop the flow of gas when it is at that steep of an angle. It allows the carburetor to overfill and the vent hose is the only place it can go.

Assuming that the gas is inside the airbox, then it is from the floats opening up and flooding your intake with fuel. Ocassionally my friends warrior has this problem as does my banshee. It is a big deal (somebody said its wasnt) because it cleans the oil off of your airfilter. Which allows dirt into your intake. If you see fuel in your airbox it is a good idea to re-oil or change your filter as soon as possible. If the fuel is on the outside of the air box, it is from a float bowl vent line that is being flooded. If you can move the line to a different position so that you are not spilling gas all over your bike or yourself as it is a major hazard.

the gas goes down the top of the airbox lid(i made sure to check the inside the first time it happened), then all over the battery, then if i havent tipped it back over yet, it gets all over the rear fenders. id just like to stop it if i could cuz its a pain to clean up
