I heard someone here mention about rings that stiffen the factory rims on a DS650. Where do I get info on these. Thanks

 

don't know where to get them but AC is the brand name.

 

I'm planning on buying these myself. AC makes some not sure how much. Also another company called OMF advertises in DW & 4WA as selling these rings as well. I plan to find out the costs etc and the pros and cons with both brands. These are the only two companies I've heard of making them as aftermarket parts though. If you find out the info before I do let us all know.

 

I have the omf rims with reinforcing rings and they have held up very well,Holeshot xct tires mounted with new valve stems cost approximately $600.The only down side is you must do a little grinding on the front fender brackets to let the rings clear.

Bearman, is there any way you could take some pictures of the rings and the grinding you did then scan them or somehow get them in a digital format for others to see?

 

I dont have a scanner but my daughter is trying to figure something out.Will let all know if she is succesfull
