ROTOPAX alum mount plates for the front storage/rack lid?
#1
as most of you know. iv been layed of since nov/08. and i am looking for a bit of extra cash all the time. i recently added the rotopax gas packs to the front of my polaris sportsman. i got 2 pieces of alum. drilled holes for the rotopax mounts, and holes for the screwes to mount it to the front storage rack lid. all holes are drilled so the screw heads dont stick above the alum plate. i used all stainless, and nylon washers. there would be no drilling to either the polaris rack or the alum plate. would use all oem holes. if id go though the work of getting the alum, rounding off the edges, drilling all the holes, getting stainless harware, and nylon washers to mount it to your front rack would you buy it? id only make a few. input would be great.
only thing youd need to add are the rotopax mounts. i dont have pics but if youd do a search i have pics of mine out there. and from not ot long ago. as this is just a quick idea thread. and like your input.
thanks
