Cool 08 800 idle speed

what is the correct idle speed for my 800. i have 300 miles on her and when its warmed up it idles at around 1310-1320 and i noticed my fan runs alot. however i did remove the raditator screen and flush out the fins and i was shocked at how much mud came out. it looked clean before i started so all that mud was hiding between the fins. back to the idle the engine sounds good and normal at 1310 rpms. im worried that if i have the idle backed off it may stall on me when cold this bike needs to warm up .it sputters now when cold im wondering how accuret the speedo pods are is it realy at 1310? from day 1 the odometer said 34 miles and the trip said 37 miles ?? after my first ride

1320 seems a little high, Mine idles around 1200, even with the pipe. I don't have a service man. to look that up for you, but i think spec is 1200-1300. Check your throttle cable, make sure there is about 1/16 of an inch of play in it, you might have it too tight... Check your air fliter also, spark plugs too. If you didn't, spray your rad from back to front, get the hose in by the fan and spray out toward the front, you'll get even more crap out of there. Not sure about the speedo pods, that doesn't sound good...check with the other guys you ride with on miles traveled and what not..if thats off maybe your dealer can square it away for you.
