Default 600 twin Idle RPM

Could anyone help me out with what my Polaris Sportsman 600 twin should idle at for rpm's? Just bought the ATV and its my first, trying to make sure its running the way it should.

Thanks

1150 +/- 100 RPM. Should be in that area.

Yah, that is normal. my 600 and 700 do that. It is likely because of the thick oil and higher oil pressure. I always let mine idle to warm up for atleast 5min in the summer and 15min in the winter...

Ill check it tonight and Ill let it run for 5 mins and then Ill check to see where its at, the Polaris dealer here thinks it should be around the 1100 or so.

Thanks for getting back to me, my first ATV and I have a few bugs I need to work out in it.
