Default HELP ANSWER QUICKLY NEED ANSWER 26" Mud Bugs on 05 Polaris Sportsman

I just bought (front)26x10x12 and 26x12x12(Rear) Maxxis Mud Bug tires and i want to know if they will fit a stock 05 Polaris Sportsman 500 Ho 4x4 with no rubbing in front or rear? Anyone else had this problem? Thanks alot , Cody

I don't know on an '05...

However, they will NOT fit a '96 without spacers. At least, they wouldn't fit mine. You could mount them backwards on the rims and they'd fit, but you'd have to move your valve stems.

They will probably rub on the tie rod ends without spacers. You can flip them around and realign it, and then they will clear. Also depending on the side lug on the tire they may rub slightly on the spring. Hope this helps!

the guy that did my clutch told me that i could put 27's on my 99 sp 500.. without shaving the fenders and no lift... so idk... i think it would be ok.. dont take my word for it

well i have an 04 with 27" mud bugs but mine are only 9 wide on the front.
looks like it would fit a 10" wide tire no problem.

Biggest you can go is 9inch stock front and 12inch on the back. You would have to buy spacers, not a good idea, or after market rims with more offset, better idea, to run wider front tires. JMO
