AC 650v2 vs H1 vs Suzuki King Quad
#1
Just sold my CanAm Outlander - best riding most powerful machine I've ever ridden but too much power to have my teenagers riding around on. Looking for used replacements. What's the consesus on the King 700 vs Arctic Cat 650 V2 or H1. Goods, bads, etc. Found a used 650 V2 Tony Stewart Edition AC for $3900. Found 05 King with 1500 mi for $4500. Lets hear your opinions. King 05 - frame cracks?, reverse problems?. AC 650 - Kawasaki transmission problems?, too high CG = tippy feeling?

well the v2(kawasaki engine) is no longer, but when it was around it seemed most riders had issues with the limp mode, belt issues, thats all remember hearing about it. Ran strong when they did run though, powerful machine and fast. The H1 had bevel gear breaking issues in the beginning, but i believe they worked them out. Its a pretty good machine with good torque, but not a speed demon. The 650 h1 is gone now too, they dont make it anymore. As far as the king quad(not sure what size your talking about),but the 700 has been a real good bike as well. I dont think ive ever heard of anything going wrong with them. They tend to be pretty powerful as well. What do you plan on doing with this atv?

I was not impressed with the AC 650H1 I drove... at all. I thought it was a major POS, to be honest. The KQ 700 I rode was a pretty nice ride, and good power too. Nothing against the AC riders, but I'd go KQ.

I have seen an H1 that looked and ran like a POS,but he had drowned it several times and only changed the oil a few times. My friend has one as well and so far it runs great. I would also go with the king quad out of the three. I own an arctic cat 700(suzuki motor) and have taken it to wyoming,up to 9,000 ft, i live near st. louis at 500ft and it works awsome in both/all altitudes. Plenty of power.
