Did some research and the actual displacement is 386cc's and the motor comes from the Yamaha Big Bear 400 sold in Europe. Don't know why they scrapped 6th gear though.

I highly doubt they will use a Yamaha motor on the real Jet 400 production. It may be a copy or close to. But the Chinese can make a good motor if they would use current technology instead of 20-30 year old designs like my Jets. Overhead cams would be a nice start!
Unless the economy picks back up real soon I again doubt this 400 will surface in 2009. I would say 2010 if at all!

I wondered what had happened to that little guy. To bad if it gets the permanent axe, it sounds like a decent machine. I would hate to see it disappear into obscurity like with Dinli and the Cannondales.

The engine is out of a Warrior..Well its a warrior engine made in China..Every aftermarket Warrior item we bought bolted to the engine The one we tested had a 6 speed...not a 5...It also didnt have a longer rod...it had a bigger piston than stock...This was the ATV I was sent to China to help develop about a year ago..Id say the economy has slowed it down a lot..
