Sealing the air box..

ok so whats recomended... i want to seal the lid.. but wanted be able to take if off without having a mess... especially if i have a leak or somthing when testing it out im gonna wanna make sure im not getting any water... is there anything recomended>?

Over on highlifter, some use silicone, and IMO that is a mess when you remove, and most of the guys on there use Marine Grease to get a good seal

I had a little muddy water in our honda airbox (it didnt get past filter) i just cleaned it up and used marine grease on the seal on the lid. I had nothing in my polaris air box but still seales it up with a thin layer of marine grease.
