Default '88 trx300 firing problem

I'm getting fire from the stator to the cdi. Nothing from the coil. Coil is good. Is my cdi bad? It sparked very lightly a couple of times and that's it. I used a charger to jump the atv. Did i burn the cdi? Thanks in advance.

If you used a car battery or high output charger to start it, it usually burns up a few things in the wireing, We did ours like that, sadly.. But our CDI box, and major electrical components are good. Its most likely nothing major.. Check EVERY wire on your fourwheeler though. I cant remember what burned up on ours.. I'll check through my parts lists of what I bought, and see. I hope you get the old 300 running!

Thank you for the info. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me an idea of what you had to replace. I have traced wires and checked fuses and can't find anything obvious. Again, thanks for your time.

I'm getting a single spark when i begin the kick start cycle. If i kick hard, i get no spark. If i just start the kick, i'll get one spark everytime. Any suggestions? Also, i'm not looking for a bunch of free info, but does anyone have the values(ohms) of the cdi box? I have a manual on the way, just not here yet. Any help is appreciated.
