Looking to purchase a Raptor this spring. How is the stock front suspension? Do you think it is necessary to buy aftermarket shocks to fly over the whoops and rough stuff or does the power of the bike and weight distribution keep the front end light?......I know my Banshee is front-heavy and aftermarket shocks are a must. It also lacks torque and traction to keep the frontend light.

If you have ridden the 400EX through the whoops, the Raptor is just as good.

I would say the Raptor is like a 400EX but with guts.

Now, if the stock shocks on the 400 aren't good enough for you, I wouldn't expect the stock ones on the Raptor to be much better.

My 2 cents.

I can get you shock when you get your raptor let me know what you want I just ordered zps shock to lower the ride height which I think the raptor will bennefit from. The stock shock feel great in the woods nice and plush but for mx they are way to soft.
