We just had someone put this back together after welding the cylinder and it isnt turning over. When you pull it, it has compression. Now we dont know what type of oil goes in the engine and tran? Any help would be appreciated on this issue

 

so does the motor turn over just not start or is it seized and not turning over when you pull the rope?

as for oil put 10w30 in the counterbalance and the tranny. any twc3 rated 2 stroke oil is ok for the engine

have you checked for spark? after you try to start it a few times then pull the plug is it wet? did you mess with the stator alignment at all during the repair? could be out of time.
was the bike running before you had to repair it? when was the last time the carb was cleaned?

 

I will check your other questions, but I do know that the bike wasnt running before we had to repair it because we traded it for a non working 50 and a non working 125. This was nonworking at the time of the trade but we were told it just needed the weld job which we just did.
