DS650 Auxillary Lights
#1
This question has been posted in other forums and is still an unsolved mystery. Has anyone come up with a solution/fix for the auxillary lights not working? Mine were fine until about 2 months ago and I can't figure out why they just won't turn on anymore. The headlight works fine. I'm thinking it could be a bad switch or grounding problem. Anyone run into this problem?

A while back it happened to me. It was a relay. It is located near the left aux. light I think. A black cube about 3/4 inch or so. I think I got the replacement at napa. Search around here for "relay" to see what you come up with.
Good luck.
Good luck.

my relay went bad on mine. It is near the left Aux light. Easy way to tell is a test light or a jumper wire. If you have power into the relay and nothing out it is the relay. You can make sure by running a jumper wire from the battery or the hot lead going into the relay and jump it to one or both of the lights. If they light up it is your relay.

Sorry no answer. I was too consumed with fixing the handlebars after I rolled it. Everything is back to normal and I will get to the bottom of it soon. The bike is upstate right now so i will get to it next time I go up.
