Angry poaris needs to recall rear axles on 850 xp!!

Everyone that i have talked to that has an 850. Has the rear axles popping. And you got to know that polaris knows about this problem. So why have they not recalled them yet!! I took mine to the dealer and he told me to ride till it broke one and then he would replace. I will never do buisness with this guy again!! What do you all thing about this.

Polaris knows about this and is replacing all popping axles. They will not recall them because it is not a "danger" to anybody. If that is what your dealer said go to another dealer.

Mine don't pop and I run 32" tires
Apparently there was a batch of improperly machined alxes from the supplier which can cause some noise but it is considered a nuisance issue..so it isn't a design flaw and not nearly every 850 will have axles that make noise..how many is "everyone I have seen" The "issue" is old news and I imagine Polaris quit using the axles in question as soon as they discovered the issue.
I have heard of several being warrantied and what I was told is that Polaris has said if a customer complains about the noise then replace them. As said above it does not warrant a recall as there is no safety issue..recalls are for unsafe conditions.

Mine don't pop either! Now you know of two that don't have that problem, and I'm sure we're not the only ones!

Why don't you try another dealer..when you get the axles replaced you can come back here and start over and tell us how much you like your XP.
