Anyone notice on Hondas site that the new base MSRP is $5999 for a Rancher!!

yep, 98% of msrp's went up on all major manufacturer's models for 2010. i think polaris has 1 or 2 that didnt. its gotta be the economy.

 

Sales are down, so they up the prices to keep the profit margin up. All this does is add to inflation!!! However, at the dealer end, you should be able to get some really good deals, seeing they should be desperate!

 

And you think you're hard done by. We have to pay $NZ14905 for one. At the exchange rate of .64 thats $US9540. So your $5995 is CHEAP!!!!

 

It just caught me by surprise cause I always thought of the rancher as alot of ATV for the money.
I have a 07 420 so im not in the market for a new one.
When I got mine the base MSRP for a Foot shift 2wd was 4499.

So yeah $1500 is alot for a standard digital display and a seat with extra foam lol!

 

If they go and price themselves out of the market, sales will fall way off and they will learn an important lesson!
