Default 110cc Loncin Oil Change Question

What weight of oil should I be using and how much does the reservoir hold? I am currently using the factory installed oil that has about 5-6 hours on it but is a bout a year old. Also I don't notice an oil filter on the machine is that correct? How often should the oil be changed on ATVs?

Thanks,

Jacads

I use Valvoline 10w-40 in all my Chinese and Japanese air cooled 4 strokes...No filter just a screen...I would have changed it when i got it and every 6-12 mos after that depending on use..I dont change my oil unless it looks dirty..Usually about once a year.

Where is the screen located? How much oil does it typically hold?

Thanks

I went and looked on my 125 and couldnt find a screen...Not sure where it is now..thought it was like my Honda 50 but its not the same...

They hold a little less than a qt...about 28 ozs..

The screen is on under the clutch side cover of the ATV. You have to take the right side engine cover off & in the lower right side of the engine you will see the screen, usually you have to take it out with a needle nose pliers as you can only see a side of it... I would never clean it or change it unless your clutch goes out... it is a VERY pourous screen & only stops large particles.
