Question question on high lifter clutch engage ment

I just got a high lifter clutch and installed on my 04 700 twin. when you put it in gear it doesn't pop into gear till 2100rpm and it seams to clunk in gear or is that just the clutch engaging never road utility quad with clutch kit. I just don't want to jump on it and thrash my tranny..

You mean you have the shifter securly in gear and it just catches hard when you push the throttle?

Thats how most clutch kits work to give the machine more oomph.

I don't know how much harder it is on the machine. Lots of people like to run them I like the factory settings myself. But they are a big plus if you gotta turn some big tires in the mud.

shifter is succurly in place it just doesn't pop in like stock setting did at idle. Guessing that would be because of the weights? thanks just wanted to make sure before I hit throttle good..
