Default Spring Pre-load adjusters

All,

I am assuming these Spring pre-load adjusters are for the front springs
to match the same capability as the adjustable rear springs? Or are they
meant as an REPLACEMENT or UPGRADE to the stock rear adj springs?
Please advise?

Also, I am running the front Polaris HD springs that I am happy with unless going up hills cuz my center of gravity is still not dead on. I did raise the rear to compensate but with my rider weight the front is still further up in the air.

Okay so my point is could I acheive a better center of gravity with putting out $79 and installing these on the front to compress and bring down the front an inch or so. I think I may lose some serious front absorption (ride quality) by it being stiffer?

Just looking to improve my ride. Maybe a whole better set up shocks front and rear are the way to go. but I have no $$$ for big purchases now. $79 for a possible improvement and a half days work and a little fun is looking more feasible in my book.

Thanks in advance for the info.

so your saying the hd springs are alot more taller then the stock set up springs? glad to know that. you could always go back to the way i mentioned to you awhile ago about the spacers if need be. just an idea.

I used TM-2 pregressers (http://www.t-m-2.com/index2.php)on front so I can adjust it to what I want on my SP-500. I weigh 240 and have the front set at 1 notch up and rear at 4 and have never bottomed out yet and to me it even handles better.

Yes Stendori, they are longer. I measured a before and after, and went from 7 inches from the wheel to the wheel well to 9 inches. 2" increase. Your right, many might NOT know that its a taller spring. Yea I might have to do the spacer thing but that would mean pulling out the old spring etc. Hmmm, nothing is ever easy, lol

Cheers,
