Default Carb question

I have a '93 300ex, that pours gas out of the the carb when it is on any sort of incline. It comes out of one of the little black tubes that are connected to the carb. This is my first quad so I was wondering if this is normal or do I have a problem somewhere that I need to fix. Thanks in advance.

I dont know a lot about carbs. But I do know my ex does the same thing when its at a steep angle or close to being vertical. Also my friends does the same. I dont think its a problem. Why they do this, I dont know. Maybe some one can enlighten us.

they usually pour gas out if the float is stuck, but i think since so many 300,s do it the float is probbaly moving the needle seat so it thinks it wants more gas and over flowing. next time it does it tap on the bowl if it stops it was sticking if not they may be prone to do that.just my 2 cents no experience with 300,s

my 2 cents: The float adjustment is off slightly, causing the fuel level to be just a bit too high, and therefore spilling out of the vent hose when on an incline.
