I decided I didn't like the look of my cargo box, so I decided to leave it unlatched while it was loaded in backwards in my pick up and drive down the highway. My plan to change the looked worked when I got home and found I now had a topless cargo box!

Wheres a nice cheap place to replace this. Just the lid maybe, but the where the box itself bolts into the..the strut towers?... was cracking on both sides so probably could replace the whole thing. But yay 20 hour work weeks I don't have much money so trying to stay somewhat cheap.

I'll check ebay and craigslist for part outs awhile but anyone off top of their head know good site? It's for an 08 sportsman 800. Yes new machine and gotta replace something already haha! Does other models fit? Like 500ho from same year (generation)

 

While I'm think of it too. The stock brush gaurd got bent back about an inch from plowing last season. Does any other brush gaurds swap with the 800?

 

eBay is usually the best bet to find parts at a discount.

 

I just replaced the entire front box on my 06 since a friend of my dads thought it would be a good idea to lift the front of the quad by the rack on the box lid. Just a tip the plastic hinges will not support a 600 lb quad . I found parts online for the lid and box for around 300.00. I'm sure if you do a search for atv parts online and on ebay you should be able to get a good deal.

E-bay is a good place to start I have seen good used ones there. Breeze lawn & Garden a dealer on e-bay has them too (new) will deal with you too. I have used him quite a bit.

Saw that store last night which seems like a decent bet.

I'm asking if other models fit brush gaurd and cargo box because I got a trade offer on craigslist I really don't want to pass up. Guy is offering a 2008 500ho with 200 miles and "alot of accessories" and a 2003 Predator that I found a former post for with this description "up for sale or trade i hav a 2003 polaris predator that has alot of upgrades to it like brand new carbon fiber plastics, full aluminum airbox wit dual air filters, wiesco pistons, cdi box, nerfbars, and many other parts. there is about 4000 in upgrades on this quad.. the atv is pretty much spotless and flawless"

I can't afford a new front box right now so was seeing if he wanted to just swap front cargo box, and if he wants to replace the brush gaurd can saw those too. Save me from spending the money right now, he has his un-mangled parts, and I have my trade.
