Default TRV Skidplates from Ricochet

Just finished installing a complete set of skidplates for the frame and A-arms for my 2007 650 H1 TRV.

I AM VERY IMPRESSED with the fit and finish of these parts, the completeness of all installation parts, the ease of installation, and the total lack of any "minor modifications" to make everything fit. It fit perfectly, unlike the other brands I have installed on my other rides over the years.

The only thing that concerns me is that I think the aluminum might be a little thin for the amount of weight the TRV carries.

I used black silicon between all metal surfaces that will touch to keep it from rattling

Will be bashing the heck out of it in Utah in October, we'll see how it withstands the trip

Default TR$V Skid Plates

Hi,
How are these holding up.
I am thinking of buying Riccohet but have seen some on EBAY also.

have held up really well...I would recommend them

Whatever you buy, remember to do yourself this favor.

Clean the frame rails off, and them apply a generous bead of silicon adhesive/sealant between the surfaces of the bottom of the frame rails and the skidplate...this will not only help bond the two surfaces together, it will make a major reduction in rattling noises for many years to come
