POLARIS 90..Need your help

Default POLARIS 90..Need your help

I am going to go pickup a 2 stroke 2004 polaris sportsman 90cc.Are these good Atv's and can they go through a lot of mud and deep water?Is it bad that its a 2 stroke atv?

welcome to the forum. the 2 stroke will have more power then the 4 stroke will. you will want to know where the vents lines and air intake is before going to deep in water/mud. assuming since it's a 2 wheel drive you wouldn't being going very deep anyways. imo

I dont recommend any of the 50-90cc quads.If you are getting something for a 9-12 yr old check out the Yamaha 125 Breeze or 125 Grizzly these are very good well made machines and hold value good.4stroke automatic and are small enough for kids but big enough for a spare quad fr adults.The one we had would go through anything we put it through with only brakes replace.

They're great machines - very reliable. Not going to go through a lot of mud, tho - depends on your definition of a lot I guess. Tires are definitely a limiting factor as the stockers are not the best for more serious terrain, mud, etc., but yes, they are great.
