Default 2002 500 HO Sportsman 4x4 not working

I just finished rebuilding my rear suspension, and replacing my from ball joints. I noticed this morning while driving thru some mud that my 4x4 would not engage for some reason. All my connections are good, it worked before I took it all apart, and the little light on the 4x4 switch comes on.

I am wondering if the amount of Hub Fluid could affect this? If I overfilled would the 4x4 not work?

Thanks!
Phillip.

Read it, know it,become one with it. ATV Time :: View topic - Polaris Demand Drive Hub Q&A Picture Guide to Service

Its critical to have the correct type and amount of fluid. Does your Speedo work?

Speedo works, fluid is right, & level is right.

Need to double check elec. connections. If they are OK, I guess I will be tearing the hubs apart again.......
