trailblazer 250 top end rebuild?

trailblazer 250 top end rebuild?
i have heard alot about doing top end rebuilds on traiblazer 250s. mine is a 1997 with probably alot of hours on it. how do i know if i need a rebuild? which company should i go with? do i need to take the entire engine out to do it?

Nope, just the head, jug and piston.
