Default Transmission Fluid- Simple Answers Please!

Needing a substitute transmission fluid for my 99 Sportsman 500 4x4. Is there something else to use besides the Polaris Brand? I have searched the site but there are pages and pages of different ideas. Just needing a direct answer please. Thanks

I used synthetic 75W90 in my 99 Sp 335 with no problems for 8000 miles but if the dealer was not so far away I would have used Polaris oils as they where the same price

i use allison transmission synthetic tranny oil. I can get it from my friend so its free and frees for me lol!! I have about 500 miles on it and so far so good. I checked the msds sheets for the polaris oil and this oil and they are about the same the allison oil is a little bit thinner but not much. Its just like the oil i drained out so GOOD LUCK cause to me the polaris oils are pretty damn expensive??? so i use the free stuff lol lol search it and lookfor msds and compare the oils that way that is what i did so??
