Default plow mount need input!!!!!!!!

i was looking at my buddies rhino and he has a 2" receiver built right into frame in the front. he built an awesome aluminum diamond plate plow with a steel frame. the whole mount is attached to the plow frame and it just has a piece that slides into the 2" receiver so its 1 pin and the winch to attach and remove the plow. imo this is a great set up quick, strong, and its not a big plow mount hanging do to get hung up on. sooo im thinking about welding a 2" receiver into the front of my wheeler frame. and building the same plow. if anyone has done this some pics would be great. and anyone with any input at all please share!!

I see when it comes out of the receiver it goes down before it connects to the plow. Even though the plow lifts up quite high has you or your friend had any issues with backing up ad getting high centered on the part that sticks down?

I currently have this usse if I do not pay attention and the plow drops into a depression and the push mount bar does not and gets hung up. I have always written it off as what happens when you plow uneven ground. Just wondering if your set-up would do the same?

yes and no. when i first started i had my shocks cranked all the way up and never had a problem but then my plow was angled forward too much and would catch and fold over. i set my shocks all the way down and solved that problem but now the bottom of the plow mount is only about 3 inches off the ground and i had it hit a few times, deffinatley not enough to get hung up. im going to add another spring to the plow to help with the folding over problem and set my shocks back up.

I do a bunch of back blading so I do not have to get off and shovel as much so that is what causes part of my issue. I just get hung up enough to bend things a little and then it makes it real fun to take off the plow especially for just a little while to go for a ride ice fishing and such. I just leave the plow on all winter now but I am looking for a different set up.

I may get one for my truck or start plowing with my tractor.

yea, we have a plow on our truck but we have a few drive ways to plow and they want them plowed every time it snows a inch and it dont seem worth it with the truck, ill also get plenty of use out of my plow out on mile lacs (i live on the lake) but when you have a good 6" truck is the way to go
