Default Service Manuals

I see in many posts where people are saying to search bittorrent.com for manuals. I have yet to find anything very usefull. Maybe I am missing something on there?

Is it possible to download a service manual that is free? I know, I am a tight wad.

Can someone post a link to the service manuals that links directly to the manual, not a search site?

I am looking specifically for the 2001 Arctic Cat 250 4x4.

OK, I found them, just took a long time for my brain to realize I had what I was looking for. I am still new to torrents and the way some people categorize things.

I just went ahead and paid $7.88 for a pdf down load. I got some site that for a $1.99 you get a 7 day trial. Then they tried to stick me for another $4.68 for some "spy ware" program. What a rip. bit torrent isn't what they claim it to be, ah the internet. Cavet emptor!

The torrent download is only software, it is the many sites that seem to have created a search engine and give the illusion of just clicking and downloading that get me. After you "click here to download" you get taken somewhere else. Most of them seemed like the phishing, bait and switch, or down right lie to you kind of sites. They make me very cautious.

Dave I think your looking at my posts. I've down loaded a few pdf manual files from bittorrent. Yes you do have to load Vuze on your computer but I promise you it's worth it. I'm like you and don't like spending a lot of money for manuals. When I went looking for a service manual for my 250 2x4 all I could find was people wanting to sell it for way to much. A buddy turned me on to bittorrent and it's been a wealth of info. If you want send me a personal message with your e-mail address and I will see if I can send you the pdf file.

Thanks Voodoo, I have found a torrent already but others will likely find your links useful.
