Default 01 250 4x4 tire size change

Does anyone know if the tire sizes can be changed on the '01 250 4x4. They run different sizes front and back, so I figure the differentials must run different ratios to compensate. I suspect if I keep the same diameter ratio I could go to a bit taller tires.

Thoughts?

I had an 01 250 4x4 and ran 26" Mudlites on front and back with no problem.

I believe your rims are the same size and the tires different sizes.

My service manual shows the 01 AC250 and 300 having 23x8x12 Front and 24x9x12 Rear tires.

1st number is overall tire height
2nd number is overall tire width
3rd number is rim size

I was told they did that to give the machine a more "sporty" feel and to help make it easier to steer. So you either put the same height all the way around OR keep the ratio of a 1 inch shorter front tire.
