Default scrambler clutch and carb

can anyboody help me please,i have an 05 scrambler i want to upgrade my clutch, do i need to buy a clutch kit or can i get same performance by just replacing springs and weights . i am on a budget wife only lets me spend so much money on quad . i mostly do fast trail riding and tight woods. i would like to get more bottom end and midrange. Also has anybody heard of changing their carb to a conventional carb and getting rid of the cv carb. There is a aftermarket company that sells a 42mm carb and says big performance gains. I see 42mm polaris preadator carb all over ebay for short money. Any help would be appreciated, thank youscranbler clutch and carb

If on a budget go with a Dalton blk/white primary spring aaen blue secondary set 2-2 and a set of 10MB weights. You may get by with the primary spring and setting stock secondary to 2-2.
The CV cab is a decent carb but some have went to the Pred carb but I dont know why.
