95 trail boss starting issue.
#1
Hello,
And Happy 2010
I have a been given a 95 trail boss so the history is not available. I started the basic clean up and tune up on the quad. I power washed the frame ,changed the oil ,..... I installed a new battery and nothing. No lights,no start ,dead. I took the battery and had it tested then installed in sportsman started great. What is the most common issue these bikes have when it comes to the electrical.
I already checked the grounds
cleaned the started solenoid
checked the neutral safety switch on tranny
I'm stumped is there any direction I should go
any advice would be so helpful.
Thank you

Thank you for the response, I have checked the fuse and cleaned all the battery connections ,cleaned all ground connections, In removing the cowling's I found that a red wire coming for the key switch had been frayed and damaged. I just cleaned the electrical terminal block but cant find the spade it belongs to. Dose anyone have an electric schematic I can look at???
I,m almost there, Thanks

what fuse need you check because Im haveing the same problems you are and I can not find any fuse, I have a 1995 brail boss, And I was rideing it and it just stop and I cant get it to start. I have spark, gas etc. It just turn and turns over. I even spryed either in the carb and still nothing.
