heres the story. i bought an 06 DS650x about 3 months ago for $800. looks good and runs great. had bald tires, but no biggie.( but thats not the deal). i loved it but decided to trade it to my brother for an 03 660 grizzly. it was in great shape and run good as well. didnt have it no time and missed my DS some kinda bad. he put new tires all around the ds and rode it twice. i wanted it back but didnt want to say anything to him cause he liked it. come to find out, his wife didnt know we traded. she wanted the grizzly back. so he calls me up one night and says he dont want to put me on the spot, but his wife wanted the grizzly back and was mad at him for trading. i never let on that i wanted the ds back. he tells me that for causing me the trouble, he will give me the ds, with the new tires and a nice 300ex back for the grizzly. i tell him i have to think about it. lol then call him back and tell him i suppose i could. did i come out on that deal or what. lol

 

We had a similar story here a few weeks ago, but it was a guy "dealing" with a buddy. Not knowing you or your brothers situations, as long as you can sleep at night... sure you got a great deal. Would I do the same to my brother... well sure... but he is a PIA.

 

lol. my brother is an alright guy. i did it because he would have done the same thing. family or not, trading is trading. lol. and i'm all about coming out on the good end whenever i can. just too good to pass up.
