Question Mammoth 800 idle

My new Mammoth has about 10 hours on it. It had a rough idle when I got it and I checked the idle mixture screw. It was out 5 complete turns. I tried adjusting it and it made no difference. I have had the Carb off and blown out all the passages and tried blocking a hole in the intake manifold all with no luck. The picture in the Suzuki engine manual is pretty accurate. Advancing the timing helps a little but mostly just speeds it up. Any ideas ? Thanks Ken

Smile Mammoth idle problem solved

I found the idle problem thanks to a tip from Aaron. I pulled the carb apart and the gaskets under the fuel bowl were bad, misshappen and allowing air from the secondaries into the primaries. Also the two screws that came in from the bottom were loose. I made new gaskets out of a different material and it idles fine now. kenrat
