Default 97 Xplorer Wheels/Tires

I want to go from a 10" to a 12" tire on my 97 xplorer. Do I need to make any changes to do this and where is the best place to find wheel/tire sets. Any help would be great. thanks

I would suggest going 12" in the front and stay with the 10"s in the back. Decent wheels hard to find in the 4/4 for the rear in 12". Did the same on my 97 Xplorer and very happy.

12" rims are more plentiful than the 10's. if the hub splines are the same, you could try something off a magnum or expedition.
i think they used to sell an adapter-wheel spacer kit to do that also.

Thanks for the replies. I like the looks of the xplorer pics. This atv was given to me and was dead when I got it. A few hundred bucks later I've been able to get it going again. Runs great. Rear rims are in pretty tough shape so I thought I would just replace them all and I would have a pretty nice atv for about half of what a nice used one costs.
