1990 yamaha warrior 350 issue

Hey guys, i have a question for you all, ive asked a hundred people and had 100 different responses!!! i was out riding the trails one day, and a 13 year old girl smashed me head on....now when i drive forward its like the atv wants to go in reverse, it almost glitches you could say. its real annoying and i have no idea what it is??? im thinking transmission? bent sprocket? truth is i dont even know where to start!!!!! please help!!!

Hi welcome to the forums.
If i'm understanding you right you mean the thing only goes backwards? If that's the case not sure why you would get different answers. I'm sure it's in the transmission. Maybe the reverse lever is bent or broke not allowing it to slide the trans gear correctly.

no, what im saying is when im going forward it lurches me backwards. and makes a loud clicking sound as if the chain slips? i checked all the teeth on the gears and they are all intact. im thinking it is something with the trans. because when my buddy pulled me it still did it in neutral. i wish i could get a video for you guys. and i'll try to do so.
