There are some videos on youtube of them climbing hills. I own a 94 that I just purchased, and have yet to even refine learning the manual with clutch. Anyways I did a lot of research before I bought my Warrior, and one thing I read a lot was that they are not good for dunes. I can't say personaly, but I have definitly heard a lot of NOs. Keeping in mind all my research was for pre-04. Have not checked out the 04+ where they apparently made some much do changes!! Eaither way good deal if its newer and clean!!!

they would be fine for just leasure riding or messing around but overall they suck in dunes because of the old powerplant, heavy specially in the front, and the fact that sand robs alot of power really makes it suck.
