AWD and gear selection light go out when turning hard to the right
#1
2007 sportsman 500 EFI... started noticing the AWD light going out this winter when speeding up while plowing snow, slow down or stop and the light comes back on and 4WD works... when the light is off you are in 2WD although the AWD selector switch is on... Noticed today that the gear selection light is going off sometimes as well with the AWD light... Both are going out when turning hard to the right 90% of the time, straighten up and the gear selection light comes back on but you have to slow down or stop for the AWD light to come back on... Haven't had time to check connections due to raining today... I am wondering if a long conduit is rubbing the wires and breaking them inside the insulation or perhaps the wires and just breaking due to repeated hard turns in the woods. I do a lot off trail driving in the woods my Maple Syrup camp with a lot of hard turns between the trees... I probably do more hard turns than the average rider...
No grinding or banging noise when the AWD light comes back on or when on demand 4WD system kicks in... It seems to be just in the speedometer...
Has anyone experience this situation and if so what did they do to determine the problem and then correct it...
Started happening after I switched to 27 inch Zillas but I don't think it is the tire size...

well the problem seems fixed, drove around in circles and the gear selection light stayed on perfectly and the AWD light never went out on a short ride...not sure why,did too many things at once to pin point the cure...
after the rain stopped I soldered high beam wires and the high beam works again...
cut off 5" of that ribbed plastic conduit that was the cause of the high beam wires breaking, well that and a hard hit on the culvert, high beam never worked after that hit...
used dielectric grease on all the electrical connections when putting it back together...
perhaps(iffy at best) the broken wires were touching on the hard turns and causing the gear selection light to go off and the AWD light to go off and on(no pattern to the AWD light going on and off)...
