Arrow XP Owners Needed...

Humm...I don't think that is normal. On my '09 850 XP...I have never smelled gas vapors.

Any other XP owners care to comment???

Of course it's not normal. I rode several XP's, and a bunch of other quads... you should never smell gas fumes.

Take your cap off and listen for a loud hissing sound. If so, the vent tube is pinched somewhere. Check also for a gas leak in the line or anywhere else.

If it were me I would take it back to the dealer, and wouldn't leave until I didn't smell anything. That could be a dangerous situation.

Haven't smelled anything gas-like with ours either. I know the new motors/exhause tend to stick a little in the beginning. Should be a simple check for your dealer.

Yeah, never smelled gas on my 850 either. I'd take it right back and have them look it over. Not likely what you want to do though. I'd do some very brief checking first, then bring it in.

my dealers in the area are half retarded i checked vent tube its is clean no obstructions or kinks and there are no sign of fuel going in the tube i just have a very sensitive noise an i think that may be part of my problem . i rerouted it to a spot on the left side of seat bye inlet to belt till above gas tank and problem gone so i will keep a eye on it to see if there is a problem with it being put in new location ... thanks . again it was a very faint smell of vapor ....
