Default Help with 99 warrior power issue

I know very little about maintenance or engines of any kind. I bought a 99 warrior used in December of 2009. It ran like a top the few times I was able to ride it. Sat in a barn through a few winter storms and then ran fine when I charged the battery a couple weeks ago. Yesterday and today, I've had trouble with power. It starts up fine, runs and idles fine, but when I get into the throttle, the engine revs, but very little power gets transfered to the wheels. This happens in 1st, second and third gears. beyond that, it seems to loosen up a litte and it will run ok. There's just little to no torque in lower gears. I'm looking for ideas on where to start. Could it be as simple as a fuel problem? I would appreciate any advice on where to start trouble shooting. Thanks

Sounds clutch related to me like you clutch is slipping. Check your clutch lever play and also check your oil. You might want to do an oil change since the oil lubricates the clutch. After it loosens up in the upper gears, when you go down to 1st and 2nd gear is it still slipping?
