hello all. needing a little help here, and i'm not sure where to find it. my dad is looking for a rear differential for his 2004 kodiak 450. he knows a guy that can get him one but he wants way more than its worth (we assume) but neither of us can seem to find said part anywhere. we've already checked both the yamaha store and bike bandit. if anyone has a clue, please drop me a reply, because its getting really frustrating.


p.s. first post, btw, so forgive me if i'm asking a question that gets answered all the time. i couldn't find it with a search.

You are in need of a complete Differential? So the whole thing is Shot? Did you crack the case? There really isn't much going on in the rear diff.

I would check E-bay.

yea. need the whole thing. he didn't tell me what was wrong exactly, but my guess is that its cracked. he was kind of hoping for a new part (which i know is possible on e-bay, but dad's a little paranoid ). thanks for the info though. i'll double check there. if anyone knows anything else, i'd really appreciate it.
