I have a 1996 Polaris 250 Trial boss that's producing a tremendous amount of smoke while running. I believe I can adjust the oil injection system but I don't have a service manual that tells me how to do it. Does anyone know where I can access a manual for this atv? (I'm hoping it's just an adjustment and not rings, etc.) Thanks for your help!

 

welcome to the forum. you should be able to adjust the cable that goes to the pump by just backing off a little so the arm doesnt go up as far if you know what i mean. wouldn't hurt to doa compression test and check the plug to see how oily it is from having too much oil going through. compreesion should be at least 100 psi +.
