Default Yamaha Breeze won't shift

I just inherited a 2000 Yamaha breeze. I have it running pretty good but it does not seem to want to shift out of first. Anybody else have this problem?

Is that the Auto Clutch version? I've had shift problems with my 80 and just adjusted the shift lever pivot shaft (or whatever it's called). If it has a clutch or is fully Automatic.... I got nuthin'. (although the full clutch will maybe have a broken shift fork)

It's got the automatic trans. Supposed to be able to just put her in drive and it shifts by itself. It just winds out in first and does not shift to second. I'm hoping for an easy fix.
